Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Eastside Baptist Church in Raleigh. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM at Eastside Baptist Church with burial to follow at Eastside Baptist Church Cemetery.

Jim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing. Jim was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Garner, and one brother, Dave Garner.
Survivors include his mother, Linda Anderson, one daughter, Tanya Garner, one son, Wesley Garner, two grandchildren, Rylee Petty and Paisleigh Garner, his stepmother, Mary Garner, three brothers, Clay Anderson, David Weathersby (Sarah), Don Taylor, three sisters, Regina Garner, Michelle Tebo (Darren), Melissa Weathersby and a host of nieces and nephews.
