Sheila was a floral designer and worked for Snodgrass Florist, Cottage House and Trees and Trends. She also enjoyed designing floral arrangements for her family and friends. She was a member of Grace Community Church in Newburgh. Sheila was employed with her husband, Russ, at Ziemer Funeral Home. The loves of her life were her husband, children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Russ King; daughter, Jammie (Rev. Jeremy) Moore, of Newburgh; sons, Russell (Tracy) King, of Newburgh and Jeremy (Julie) King, of Evansville; step-daughter, Christina (Matt) Kubes, of Spokane, WA; grandchildren, Ashlyn King (Mike Sanders); Preston and Lexi King, Peyton and Jerica Moore; and great granddaughter, Amelia Mae Sanders.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 N. First Avenue. Visitation will continue from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020 at The Pentecostal Church of South Lake, 1640 W. 93rd Ave., Merrillville, IN 46410. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Jeremy Moore officiating. Due to the current pandemic, masks will be required and social distancing observed.
