Edith B. Harris, 97, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2020, at Riddle Hospital. Edith lived in Parkside for 50 years before moving to Chestnut Ridge, where she spent 5 years and lived the last 7 years at Fair Acres. She was a graduate of Media High School. She was very active at Parkside Methodist Church, enjoyed listening to music, and was an excellent baker. She really enjoyed hosting Sunday evening dinner with family. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years Lawrence Harris; her parents Gertrude and Benjamin Frank Berry; her sons Lawrence, Jr. and Dennis R.; and her siblings Charlotte and Lester. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Kathleen) and Brian (Barbara); daughter in laws Susan Harris and Karla Harris; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral service Thursday 10:30 am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA, 19015. Visitation Thursday 10-10:30 at the funeral home.
