A lifelong resident of West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothea (Lyons) Sprague.
June graduated from West Warwick High School in 1944. She was employed as a cashier for the Stop & Shop Supermarkets for over 20 years before retiring. June enjoyed line dancing, playing cards and board games with her family; especially with her eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. June was an accomplished seamstress; and she was handy at repairing most anything.
June was the mother of Leslie A. Ray of Warwick, Gail F. Coken and her husband Carl of Sammamish, WA, and Julie A. Mansour of Coventry. June was the sister of Gilbert Sprague, Kenneth Sprague, Priscilla Fraser, Judith Koerner, Beverly Carroll, Marilyn Gifford, Susan Martin, and the late Charlotte Rawlinson, Dorothea Picard, Richard, Robert, and Charles Sprague.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, December 10, 2020 in the Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive in Cranston. Interment at Saint Mary Cemetery in West Warwick.
