Gary Lee Black, 73, Middletown, passed away Monday morning at Hershey Medical Center. He was born in Hollidaysburg, son of the late Donald Long and Mona Rae (Miller) Black. On Feb. 12, 1966, He married Barbara Kay Miller, who preceded him in death on Nov. 1, 2019.

He is survived by three sons: Donald J. (Kristin) of Etters, Wayne S. (Terri) of Harrisburg and Matthew R. (Marsha) of Waynesboro; six grandchildren: Kristine, Emily, Michael, Samuel, Audrey and Sarah; a brother, Ronald W. of Middletown; and many nieces and nephews.

Gary was a 1965 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church of Middletown. He retired from Verizon (Bell Telephone Co. of Pennsylvania) with 33 years' perfect attendance.

There will be no visitation. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are by Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg.
