Sharon Kay Roate, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the age of 57. Sharon was born in Columbus to Clayton and Delores (Wolfgram) Gullickson on February 8, 1963. Sharon was a kindhearted, hardworking person who loved being with family, always willing to help while putting her own needs aside. For sure she always brought Texas Potatoes to every gathering! She was united in marriage on March 28, 1987 to Dale Roate. They raised two wonderful sons Kevin and Kyle. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Clarence and Hannah Gullickson and parents Clayton and Delores Gullickson, infant son Dale Jr., nephew Edward Gullickson, uncle Merlin Wolfgram and aunt, Evangeline (Oscar)Wolfgram (Oscar). She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years Dale, sons Kevin and Kyle (Sam King), siblings Sandy, Gary, Susan, and Grant Gullickson, and Lori Gullickson Miller (Michael), God Parents Tom and Janice Gullickson, aunts Carol Lou Mell (David) and Shirley Wolfgram, neice Makayla Miller, and great niece and nephew Savannah and Jonathan Gullickson. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday December 10, 2020 at Spring Prairie Lutheran Church in Keyeser as a stay in your car service. Burial will be held at the Church cemetery. Vicar Rick Bursch will preside. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Thursday, December 10 at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie.
