Cathy Marie Sparkman Roberts, 57, of Pendleton, KY, passed away from this life on December 4, 2020 at Rolling Hills Nursing Home in New Albany, IN. She was born on February 9, 1963 to the late Byrum and Harriet Hamilton Sparkman in Hazard, KY.
Cathy cherished her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her hobbies included cooking, cleaning, fishing, thrift shopping, and taking care of her pets. She was known for being a great cook.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her children Heather Mitchell and her husband Steven of Louisville, KY, Daryl Calhoun and his wife Erin of Pendleton, KY; one brother Walden Sparkman and his wife Becky of Bedford, KY; two sisters Linda Sue Timberlake of LaGrange, KY, and Jeanette Calhoun Bowling of Ohio; six beloved grandchildren Emma, Ella, and Elyse Mitchell all of Louisville, KY, Chloe, Leigha, Kylie Calhoun all of Pendleton, KY, and many loving family and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.
Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Amberly Roberts; her brothers and sisters Pearlie Sparkman, Miniveeve Sparkman, Gladys Ray, David Sparkman, Warnie Sparkman, Dewayne Sparkman, Howard Sparkman, and James Sparkman.
