Beloved husband of Shirley Squires (nee Scott) predeceased 2012. Loving father of Cathy (husband Steve Roy) and Ron predeceased 1999. Cherished grandfather of Eric (Melissa), Scott and April (Martin) and great grandchild Camilla. Dear son of Albert and Winifred (nee Faulkes) Squires both predeceased. Loving brother of Sylvia McDonald (husband Don predeceased). Brother in law of Jackie Scott predeceased. Sadly missed by loving nieces and nephews.
Ray goes to Heaven to join his feline friends Tiger and Cuddles. He enjoyed gardening, model trains and planes. Ray had been an electronic technician at Sonic Northern, retiring in 1997 with 40 years service.
Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Friday, May 19th, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. Interment in the family plot at the Civic Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated. (Friends may gather after 11:30 A.M.
