Linda Morgan Spicer went to be with the Lord on December 5, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. She was from Pennsboro, WV where she went to high school.

She went to PCC to get her EMT license to volunteer with the Pennsboro Emergency Squad for several years. Then her family moved to Williamstown, and she went to work at Selby General Hospital as a physical therapy assistant for several years. Linda had been a foster parent with Try-Again Homes and had kept in contact with a number of the children over the years.

Linda is survived by her husband Dave Spicer, Sr. sons Skip (Mary) Spicer of Boaz, Dave (Betty) Spicer of Williamstown, twins Morgan Spicer and Mike Spicer of Parkersburg and a daughter Missy (John) Hanson of Marietta. Also surviving are grandsons Tom (Addie) Spicer of Williamstown, Johnny Spicer of Parkersburg, and Kyle Moellendick of Marietta, great grandsons Conner Martin of Warren, 5 step-granddaughters a step-great grandson and a step-great granddaughter. Sisters Phyllis (George) Williams of VA, Carolyn (Mike) Bunner of Navarre, OH, and Shirley (Bob) Gray of St. Marys and a brother Jim (Gloria) Morgan of Williamstown also survive.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Oley and Grace (Henderson) Morgan, a sister Gerry Gatrell, and a brother Sonny Morgan.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Tuesday, December 8th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 am Tuesday until the hour of service.
