Born in Donora on February 26, 1933, he was the son of the late Ralph Elias and Susan Edith Timko Glass.
He was employed with the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh for thirty-eight years; he was passionate about building the miniature train at Buhl Planetarium. He loved astronomy, sports and spending quality time with his grandchildren. He was very dedicated to taking care of his wife, Irene.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Willard Glass.
He is survived by his wife, Irene E. Pakish Glass; sons, Robert Glass of Rostraver and David Glass of Monongahela; daughter, Denise Beckinger of Fayette City; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Lois Vitale of Rostraver, Clifford Glass of Quakertown, Pennsylvania and Shirley Blick of The Villages, Florida.
Interment in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
