Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother – Age 92

Frances was born in South Dakota and moved to Iowa at the age of six. She graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Rochester, Minnesota, in 1950. She worked one year there as head nurse.

Coming to Milwaukee in 1952, Fran worked at the Veterans Hospital. She met her husband Ken at the Eagles Ballroom, and they were married in May of 1955. They bought a home in West Allis, WI and raised their two daughters. After Ken’s passing in 2004, Fran stayed alone for five years in their house, but then moved to Clement Manor which she really enjoyed. She did a lot of volunteering and was very active in the Chapel.

Frances Holzrichter passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 3rd , 2020.

Preceded in death by husband Kenneth. Survived by children Carol (Tom) Sullivan and Jan (Tom) Speak, grandchildren Jeff, Laura, Matt, Lisa, Kathy, Jen, Katie, Nicki & 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Frances will be held Friday, December 11th at 11:00am at St. Rita Parish, 2318 South 61 st Street, West Allis, WI 53219. Eulogy Beginning at 11:45AM with Mass of Christian Burial following at noon.
