Mrs. Eva Haviland Jewell, 82, a resident of 103 Clinton St., died Tuesday noon in Memorial Hospital after an illness of several months.
Surviving are two sons, Charles O. and Lester M. Scroggy, both Sandusky; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Harry Swartz, Fostoria, and Mrs. Robert Houck, Bryan; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard Jewell, in 1962.

Services for Mrs. Eva Jewell were held this morning in the Andres Funeral Home, the Rev. Alton Loar, officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Leroy and Charles E. Scroggy, Francis Speakman, George Rapp, Duwayne Dickman, and Keith Pitney.
