Mary L. Ryder, 65 of Smoot, W. Va. was a daughter of Roy Elliott and Mamie Mildred Goins Boggess. She was also preceded in death by a son, John Fitzgerald Ryder; and two brothers, Curtis and Ronald Boggess. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Dale Ryder; four sons, Don Ryder of Germantown, Md., Dudley Ryder of Springdale, W. Va., Dwayne Ryder of Bethesda, Md., and Elliott Ryder of New Market, Md,; nine sisters, Olive Crookshanks of Rainelle, W. Va., Frances Hedrick of Lorain, Ohio, Mildred Meadows of Lewisburg, W. Va., Betty McClung of Smoot, Janet Hedrick of Rainelle, Jean Heaster of Crawley, W. Va., Sharlet Holliday of Lewisburg, W. Va., Shirley Rider and Myrtle Heimberger both of Smoot; five brothers, Harold of Alderson, W. Va., Homer of Smoot, Cleveland of Green Sulphur Springs, W. Va., Robert of Springdale, and Norman Boggess of McRoss, W. Va.; and four grandchildren. Burial in Richardson Cemetery, Smoot.
