Sue Rhiley Jensen
Kathleen Susan (Rhiley) Jensen passed away at her home near Oshkosh, Nebraska on November 15, 2020, one month before her 75th birthday.
Sue was born on December 15, 1945 in Richmond, California to King and Norma Rhiley. The family moved to Oshkosh in 1948, where she attended elementary and high school, graduating in 1964 and went on to attend Kearney State College.
Sue married her high school sweetheart, Richard H. Jensen in 1966. After Rick graduated from UNL, the couple lived in Lincoln for two years, moved to Sidney for a year and returned to Lincoln so Rick could complete his law degree.
They established a law practice on Main Street, Oshkosh, which they ran together for 46 years. Sue was the legal secretary for the practice. A daughter and son were born to the couple.
Sue's greatest joy was her family, thrilled with her granddaughter. Sue sent hundreds of cards to celebrate birthdays, graduations and weddings. An avid reader, member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
Sue and Rick travelled abroad and in the states.
Sue rejoins King and Norma and her in-laws, Howard and Doreen Jensen, grandparents; H. E. and Thelma Wyatt and King and Betha Rhiley and a niece, Cyndi Rhiley Cotterell.
Survived by her husband, Rick, daughter Jill Amack and son Rick Jr. and granddaughter Athena Jensen. Siblings, Lee Salmonson, King and Barbara Rhiley, Joe and Kathy Rhiley and Patricia Young. Brother and sister-n-law, Dr. Tim Jensen and Jean. Along with aunts, uncles, cousins from the Sullivan, McHatton, Whiting, Wyatt and Rhiley families.
Cremation has taken place, a life remembrance celebration will take place spring/summer of 2021.
