Cora Nadine Long of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020. She was born March 7, 1933 in Wister, Le Flore County, Oklahoma to Thomas Jefferson Brown and Cora Lee Garvin Brown. She was the 2nd great-granddaughter of Chief of the Choctaw Nation in 1882, Jackson Frazier McCurtain.

She married Harold Scott Long on March 16, 1957 at South Highland Church of Christ in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and best mother and grandmother in the world. Family and faith were the most important things in her life. She was a Radiotelephone Operator before marriage and a life-long member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by three children Larry Scott Long (Bonnie), Kenneth Long (Emely) and Thomas Long (Gaye); sister Ellen Smith; brothers Kenneth Brown and Rondle Brown (Ruby); three grandchildren Rebecca Huey (Danny), Nathaniel Long, and Nat Long (Aspen); and three great-grandchildren Morgan, Audrey and Adam Huey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years Harold Scott Long; brothers Arnold Brown, Doyle Brown and Delbert Brown; and sister Opal Goggins.
