BORGER - Lewis Junior Blankenship, 83, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church in Stinnett with the Rev. Johnny Bernstein, pastor, and Ricky Griffin, pastor of Grace Fellowship Church, officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera, Okla., by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Blankenship was born June 21, 1924 in Bokchito, Okla. He was a bus driver for Plemmons School District.

Survivors include a son, Johnny Blankenship of Katy and Sherry Riemer of Stinnett; three brothers, Bobby Blankenship and Jimmy Blankenship, both of Stinnett, and Mark Blankenship of Calera; two sisters, Coryne Leewright of Stinnett and Elaine Mullins of Calera; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will be at 11545 FM 687 in Stinnett.
