We are here today to celebrate the life of Raoul "Lou Lou" Auzenne, Jr., whose walk began October 23, 1953. He departed this life on Friday, November 27, 2020 at his home, at the age of 67.
Graveside service will be held at 11:30AM Saturday, December 5, 2020 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, LA.
He leaves to mourn; brothers, Norbert Auzenne (Dorothy) and Charles Auzenne (Irma) both of Houston, TX Paul I. Auzenne (Marie) and Jack A. Auzenne (Merlene) both of Opelousas, LA, John T. Auzenne (Celinda) of Deridder, LA, Joseph J. Auzenne (Linda) of Oklahoma City, OK, Cleveland M. Auzenne (Queen) of Leonville, LA; two step brothers, Blake Minniex (Shana) of Houston, TX and Vincent Jones (Cathy) of North Carolina; six sisters, Charlene Valliere (Morris), Mary E. Mason (Darryl) and Nancy L. Carriere all of Opelousas, LA, Sharon A. Auzenne of Hampton, VA, Sharon c. Authorlee of Leonville, LA and Denica Delphine (Damien) of Broussard, LA; a special niece, Mary Smith; a special sister-in-law, Merline Auzenne; four Godchildren, Chad Auzenne, Medrick Auzenne, Jr., Joshua Valliare and Levon Lewis; two aunts, Fanny Auzenne and Clementine Pickens; two uncles, Sidney Jones and Nathan Auzenne; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Auzenne was preceded in death by his parents, Raoul Auzenne, Sr. and Elta Jones Auzenne; maternal grandparents, Jack and Bertha Kennerson Jones; paternal grandparents, Medrick and Edmonia Charles Auzenne; and a great nephew, Charles Medrick Auzenne, IV.
