Scott was a Certified Welding Inspector serving the northeast for more than 20 years including travel abroad for more than five years. In his spare time, he was an amateur gunsmith and machinist. He enjoyed boating, reading books on world history, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by one brother, Steven Baker, and three sisters, Marjorie Todd, Suzanne Huval, and Sherry Langhans; three children, Alton, Alicia, and Joshua; and three grandchildren, Kincaid, Henry, and David.
There will be a private memorial for family and close friends.
