Keith Alan Lively, 52, of Tamaroa, passed away at 2:51 p.m., Friday, Oct. 22, 2010 at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Keith had worked as a laborer for many years. During the last several years he was owner of the KD Club in Tamaroa. He was a member of the Du Quoin Eagles Club.
He was born April 10, 1958 at Du Quoin, Ill. the son of Richard and Bernice (Rice) Lively.
Keith married Kathleen Diane Dasher on Dec. 13, 2006 at Clayton, Mo. with whom he had resided with for 20 years prior to their marriage and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Tamaroa, three children- Jennifer Lively (Shawn) of Du Quoin, Cody and Ricky Lively, both of Tamaroa, father and step mother- Richard and Charlotte Lively of Du Quoin, mother-in-law- Shelby Elkins of Tamaroa, three grandchildren: Michelle Davis, Alexis O'Keefe and Jordan O'Keefe, five brothers; Rick (Sherry) Lively, Jr. of Pinckneyville, Steven (Margaret) Lively of Du Quoin, Ronnie (Jill) Lively of Du Quoin, George Lively of Tamaroa, Bruce (Jaimie) Lively of Tamaroa, six sisters; Janet Lively of Du Quoin, Debbie Lively (Jim) of Du Quoin, Brenda Townes (Steve) of Du Quoin, Sherry Turney of Tamaroa, Susan (Mike) Cox of Sherman, Ill., Alicia Lively (Corky) of Du Quoin, step sister- Nicole Leggans of Tamaroa, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and two nieces- Natasha Clary and Sheena Lively.
He loved his children and grandchildren very much and his big "ole" dog, Zee. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Funeral services were at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Gerald Wright officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Burial was in the Tamaroa Cemetery at Tamaroa.
