Evans, GA – Jean Ann Phillips, 48, entered Heaven on Thursday, November 26, 2020.

Jean was born in Frankfurt, Germany, she married and became a military wife. She lived in Ohio, Illinois, Texas, District of Columbia, and Oklahoma before settling in Augusta, GA for the past 15 years. Jean previously worked for the Mayor’s office in Washington and homeschooled her children while living in Texas. The brilliant tidbits of wisdom she gave to her children will be cherished. Jean was an excellent gardener, loved decorating for all holidays, and to relax listened to alternative music loud enough to be heard thorough out the house. She was a loving and devoted mother who will be missed.

Family members include her daughter: Julia Hancock (Lewis; son: Ryan Phillips; grandson: Landon Riley Ready and sister: Nancy Phillips. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Phillips and Gudrin Thiel Phillips.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
