Cynthia Stuart Robertson died suddenly at her home on November 18th. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Swing) Robertson, father of Charles and Kenneth Robertson, and grandparent of Alexander Robertson. She was married to Marguerite Foshay, who died in 1989. She is survived by her brother Michael Robertson, sister Betsy Whitters, and many nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed life and family, and had many interests. An avid sailor and boater throughout her life, she was a past Commander of the Cincinnati Power Squadron and attained a personal rank of Senior Navigator. She spent summer vacations on Cape Cod every year, fishing, boating, and taking the extended family on pleasure trips until this year's Covid restrictions made it impossible.

After retirement from General Electric, she volunteered for many organizations, including the Cincinnati Museum Center where she helped build traveling exhibits and taught geology for 20+ years. She was a past member of the Literary Club of Cincinnati. She was a current member of the University Club and the Falmouth Yacht Club.

A transgender woman, she transitioned in 2001 and lived the rest of her life as Cynthia. This allowed her to be true to herself and live her real life. Her family accepted her transition which was a source of joy for her.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020, at Spring Grove Cemetery. The family plans to hold post COVID memorial services in both Cincinnati, OH and Falmouth, MA. Memorial Contributions can be made in Cynthia's honor to the Indian Hill Church, Cincinnati Power Squadron, or the charity of your choice. Tributes can be left at www.springgrove.org
