Franklin D. Barton passed away on May 19, 2020. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Emma Lois Qualls Barton; his parents, Eligh Barton and Edith Barton Goodwin; his brother, William Barton; his sister, Janet Barton Roach; and his son, Steven Delano Barton.
Those left to cherish his memory are his spouse, Peggy Cavitt Barton; his brothers, Eligh Barton Jr., and Alvin Barton; his daughter, Sharon Barton Ayers; his grandchildren, Nick Esparza III, Angie Esparza Muldoon (James), Barton Daniel Esparza (Elizabeth), Courtney Danielle Wilson (Brett), Kasey Ann Barton, and Kyle Steven Barton. And his eleven great grandchildren.
He loved fishing, auctions, recounting stories about childhood adventures with his brothers, and the Arkansas Razorbacks. Most of all, he loved his family. He is loved and will be missed by all who were blessed to know him.
