Helen Maxine Carroll, 75, of Hamilton, passed away on December 3, 2020, in Hamilton, Texas. Burial will be at Granny's Garden Cemetery.
Helen was born on June 11, 1945, in Buna, Texas, to the late Jack and Mildred Grant Jackson. She was a proud resident of Hamilton for the last 17 years. Helen was a member of the Barn Church. She retired from the Assisted Living community in Leesville, Louisiana, after 20 years of service. She was an amazing caregiver to so many.
Helen was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the lights of her life. She thoroughly enjoyed every moment that she got to spend with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gervis Carroll; daughter, Kim Kallies; grandson, Sam Bruce; granddaughter, Janie Bruce; and brothers, Sonny and Larry Dale Jackson.
She is survived by her daughters: Stephanie Bruce and her husband, Steve, of Hamilton, Texas, Angie Bruce and her husband, Mark, also of Hamilton, Texas, and Dixie Welch and her husband, Tommy, of Bernice, Louisiana; grandchildren: Roxanne Stroud, Jerry Dryden, Bridget Bates and her husband, Mitch, Stevie Bruce, John Bruce, Gracie Welch, Josie Flemming and her husband, Logan; great-grandchildren: Lilly, Wyatt, Carter, Paris, Paisley, Jaxon, Lakin, Noah, Jace, Brennan, Kali, Kendal, Ben, Beaux, Easton, Caden, Cadence, Jackson, Gemma, Kaige, Layton, Raylee, and Grayson; sister, Lilly Cooper, of Lumberton, Texas; other relatives and many friends.
