David Dwight Stiles, age 77, was born August 8, 1943 to Claburn LaMarcus & Juanita (Franklin) Stiles in Farris, Oklahoma. He left this world December 4, 2020 at Oklahoma City, OK.

He graduated from Coalgate High School in 1961 and attended Haskell Indian Nation University studying to become a butcher until he was drafted to Vietnam. He served our country proudly as a soldier, welder, and expert rifleman from October 1965 to October 1966.

Upon returning home from Vietnam, he became a master carpenter and would travel across the United States, building commercial and residential properties. He loved the adventures he had while on the road and the memories he made with his friends and brothers.

David never knew a stranger and always made sure those around him were happy and taken care of, whether it be a place to lay your head or money to get you through a hard time. David could light up a room with his smile, could spin a good tale, and never met a woman he didn’t love. He found the beauty in the people and world around him, even when others may not.

He was a great father, friend, uncle and brother. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
