She was a native of Johnson City and was a daughter of the late Robert and Nell Shoun Conner.
Mrs. White was of the Baptist faith and had worked for Asbury Center several years before retiring. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Dwayne White and a brother, Robert Conner.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Conley Howard White; a daughter, Denise White and Rodney Bates of Johnson City; two grandsons, Colton White and his Fiance’, Ashley Kock of Nashville and Chris Bates of Johnson City; three great-granddaughters, Aliyah Bates, Olivia White and Sophia Kock; two brothers, Jimmy Conner and Greg Conner and his wife, Ann’ also several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mrs. White will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, December 7, 2020 in the Washington County Memory Gardens, Johnson City. Pallbearers will be selected from the family and friends. Everyone attending this service is asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 PM and please bring and wear a mask.
