Jake Jacobs 89, of England, AR passed on December 3rd, 2020.
He was retired from the former GTE Telephone Company. Jake was active in his community and church through the years. He served on the England City Council for several years and is a retired Volunteer Firefighter.
Jake was born in Heber Springs, Arkansas to Johnnie and Mary Jacobs. He grew up in the Hagler community and attended school in Dewitt. Jake was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Judy Jacobs Haydon and a son Joe Eddie Jacobs.
He is survived by his wife of 70 yrs., Jerri Jacobs, a Son Billy (Laura) Jacobs, daughters Jean Ann Finley & Jamie McGraw all of England, daughter in law Tammie (Tommy) Wilson of Hot Springs and a brother, Virgil Jacobs of DeWitt. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, numerous great grandkids and one great great-grandson.
