David W. Corley
BU grad worked in construction many years
David W. Corley, 64, of Bloomsburg went to be with the Lord suddenly on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, at Geisinger-Bloomsburg Hospital emergency room.
He was born Feb. 24, 1956, in Bloomsburg, a son of Alice (Smith) Corley of Bloomsburg, and the late Billy Corley.
He graduated from Bloomsburg High School, where he was the class president, and then graduated from Bloomsburg University with a degree in business. David worked in the construction field for many years. He was a social member at the Bloomsburg VFW and a member of the Sons of American Legion in Bloomsburg. David was a very strong person and especially enjoyed helping people.
David is survived by his mother, Alice; brother, James E. Corley, and wife, Debra, of Bloomsburg; sister, Rowena D. Rake, and husband, Wayne, of Dale City, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald N. Corley.
