Margaret Delores Jenkins of Frederick, Maryland transitioned from this life peacefully at home on Saturday, October 31, 2020.
Margaret was born to the late Roy Thomas Jenkins and Margaret Frances Bowie-Jenkins on May 12, 1938. Margaret attended Lincoln High School and was a graduate of the class of 1957. She LOVED her Alma-Mater. She was employed at Price Electric/Airpax for 40 plus years until her retirement in 2006.
She enjoyed traveling and loved her music, especially listening to Yanni. She was a mentor to the youth group “Know About Me” from 1998 to 2003. Most of all she loved her family and talking with them about the family history.
She is survived by her four loving children; William Jenkins (Lily), Karen Jenkins, Beverly Bowens (David), and Malik Anisa-Ajene (Michele) all of Frederick MD; eight grandchildren, Breon, Tyrone, David, Maressa, Morgan, Chaquan, Amber and Mia; five great-grandchildren, Kaden, Zahara, Ajinae, Amaya, and Kash; brother, Austin Jenkins (Lula) of Las Vegas, NV; and sister, Frances Jenkins of Frederick, MD; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends, Dorothy Thompson and Dorothy Holland .
In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her: daughter, Sonja Jenkins; great-granddaughter Janiya Stockton; four brothers, Clifton, George, Edward, and Robert Jenkins; and one sister, Dorothy Jenkins-Brown.
