Lois Reilly of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 82 on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Lorenz and Berniece Eifert.

Lois is survived by her beloved husband of fifty-five years, Thomas Reilly; her children, Tom (Tammy Westhues) Reilly, Michelle Reilly, and Kris (Bob) Zeisler; her grandchildren, Nick Reilly, Brigitte (Kurt Keeven) Reilly, and Cole Zeisler; her siblings, Barbara (Jerry) Smith and Paul Eifert; and her granddogs, Simba and Jo Jo.

For many years Lois was a parishioner of Our Savior Lutheran where her father served as pastor. Lois had a generous spirit and enjoyed volunteering her time and talent to serve however she could at St. Joe's Hospital.

Lois was always at one of the family's tire stores, "The Tire Factory," chatting with customers, helping at the main office, or being around all the employees and wanting to know how their children and families were doing.

Lois spent several summers in New Harbor, Maine where her and Tom rented a cottage for the season. Tom's family was from Maine, but Lois quickly became part of the summer community as Tom was mostly back in St. Charles running the business. Their place was known as "The Big Cottage" where Lois enjoyed having friends and family visit her all summer – hosting many a cocktail hour, parties, and showing them around the scenic area. Most days ended at Small Brothers restaurant on the wharf where lobsters, clams, drinks, and fun were in abundance.

Lois was fond of book reading, crossword puzzles, listening to all her music, and visits from her grandchildren and granddogs. As their grandkids grew, she enjoyed talking hunting and fishing with Cole, attending all of Brigitte's sporting events, going on all of Nick's hockey trips or just "anything Nick." She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lois's name may be made to Boone Center Workshop.
