George died peacefully November 29, 2020 with his daughter Margaret and son-in-law Steve by his side.

He was born in Syracuse NY and grew up in the cobblestone house by Webster’s pond in the Valley. He always loved the Valley. He was a 5th generation descendant of a family who were early settlers of Lafayette NY and Syracuse starting with Johnson Hall who came from Connecticut in the late 1700’s.

He was predeceased by his wife Helen and daughter Sharon Lamirande.

He leaves behind his daughters Theresa Galvin and Margaret (Steve) Adydan, grandchildren Michael (Staryce) Mautner, Thomas Lamirande, Emily Adydan, Carly Adydan, and a great grandson Logan Mautner.

Burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
