HESPELER, Nov. 12 - Alexander Parks, a respected, well-known and practically life-long resident of Hespeler, died Wednesday at his home at the age of 75 years. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Parks. Mr. Parks, for a number of years, operated an asphalt-paving business in Hamilton and Hespeler. He was one of the oldest members of the Commercial Travellers Association and had travelled in Canada and Europe. He was president of the Lakeside Park Association for about 20 years and had been affiliated with the Hespeler Rod and Gun Club. He was a member of the United Church. His wife predeceased him in 1947. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Alexander B. Loblaw, Islington, Mrs. T. Gale, Islington and Mrs. Harold B. Schultz, Preston; one son, Donald, at home and a brother, Ralph of Galt. The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at his residence, Lewis St. Interment will be made in Hespeler Cemetery.
