Pearl M. O'Hara, 79, of East Moline, Ill., formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, March 23, at the Illini Restorative Center, Silvis, Ill., after a lengthy illness.

She was born June 15, 1912, in Davenport, daughter of Joseph F. and Pearl A. Pruden Malik. She married Gaylord R. Lane, Sr. and he preceded her in death.

She married Thomas O'Hara and he preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Gaylord R. Lane Jr. of Gardnerville, Nev., and Ron K. Lane of San Jose, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Loretta; and two stepsons, Dick O'Hara of Waterloo and Larry O'Hara of Moline, Ill.; ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; three sisters, Edna Kenney of East Moline, Ill., Mildred Hughes of Bettendorf and Josie Bednarik of Camdenton, Mo.; and a brother, George Malik of Shorewood, Ill.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Evansdale, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Parrott and Wood Funeral Home, where there will be a vigil service at 6:30 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
