Mr. Thompson was born March 30 1928 in Leona, Texas and passed away December 1, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He graduated with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University as the Class of 1949, while there he was a member of the Corps of Cadets. Jack worked for Sun Oil Co. from graduation to retirement.

He married Ina Fredrickson at the young age of 21 in Utah.

They traveled across most of the Western and Central states until settling down in Richardson, Texas where they raised 2 daughters.

Jack passed away on December 1, 2020 just weeks before their 70th wedding anniversary.

He was the kindest and most generous man. He cherished his wife, daughters, his twin grandsons, his mother, all of his family in Texas, mom's family in Utah, watching the band march in, Aggie football, The Corp, and watching ladies basketball.

He is survived by wife Ina, his daughters Darcy '87 and Lisa, as well as his twin grandsons.
