Richard D. McDaniel, age 62 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020 at his home. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era with multiple tours in Germany. He studied Business Management at Nuhrenburg and was a dedicated employee of Kerry Ford. Rick was a passionate Steelers Fan and loved Harley Davidson motorcycles. He loved his family and two dogs, Ozzy and Rocky. He never wanted to look back at things he did not do.
Rick was preceeded in death by his father, William McDaniel; his mother, Rose (Billie) Fridley; and his sister, Robin Young. Rick is survived by his bonus mom, Betty McDaniel; his wife, Dreamia McDaniel; his son, Ricky, his daugther Brittany; his grandson, Hayden; his brothers, Bill (Nancy) McDaniel, Eddie (Laura) McDaniel, Ronnie McDaniel, Gahlen (Tina) Fridley, Billie (Charlene) Fridley; his sisters, Cassandra Fridley, Shannon (Eric) Humiston, and Sheila (Richard) Taylor.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 W 3rd St, Dayton, Ohio, on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 1:30 PM.
