Funeral services for George B. Garcia, Sr., 90, of Rosenberg, will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with interment following at West Gethsemane Cemetery in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Caballero-Ryder Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
Mr. George Garcia was born July 25, 1930 in Mercedes, Texas and he passed away November 29, 2020. Mr. Garcia was a hard worker, enjoyed life, and spending time with his family. He was a devoted Catholic.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Trindad Garcia; his brothers, Pablo Garcia, Rosendo Garcia, Alvino Garcia; sisters Pilar Luna, Antonia Diaz, and Placido Bosquez.
He is survived by his children, Mary and Rosendo Magallan, George Garcia, Jr., Santos Garcia, Janie and Jimmie Jackson, Martin and Carmen Garcia, Linda and Scott Judge, Rosendo and Sylvia Garcia, Manuel and Gloria Garcia; 38 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 only 50 people at a time are allowed to attend the visitation and masks are required.
