Carol Jean Tolbert-Richardson-Morgan was a lifelong Okmulgee resident. She went home to be with the Lord and her mother Claudette Sampson on December 1, 2020. Carol was born to Ellis Tolbert, Sr. and Claudette Sampson on January 18,1953. She loved her family and friends more than anything, including her fur baby Cheeky Monkey Gilroy. Carol was a devoted Christian. She always had a smile and showed her love by baking and cooking for loved ones. Carol was preceded in death by her parents Ellis Tolbert Sr. and Claudette Sampson, brother Ellis James Tolbert Jr., sister Viola Tolbert and Sandy Wall, niece Sandra Harvey. She leaves behind husband Jad Morgan of Okmulgee, sister and best friend Brenda LeGrand of Okmulgee, son Patrick Richardson Jr. and wife Amanda of Fort Smith, Ark, daughter Corina Richardson Santana and wife Victoria of OKC, Amber Smith and Anesium John McDaniel of the Home, grandchildren Christian Richardson of Okmulgee, Hailey Teague of OKC, Chloe Claudette Richardson and Erik Georgi of OKC, Dillon Roberts of Bixby, William Chandler, and John (J.J.) Hesselorde of Fort Smith, Arkansas, special nephews Bill LeGrand, Aaron Torix, Jacob Brooks, Michael Harjo, Zechary Snow, nieces Misty Brooks, Angelia Trout, Shelly Spears, Jolie Brooks, Emily Snow, MaeKayla Harjo, Life long friend and father of Patrick, Cory and Amber, Pat Richardson Sr.. A memorial service will be held Friday, 11:00 A.M, December 4 at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel Okmulgee.
Friends are invited to visit the funeral home for a time of remembrance on Thursday from 3:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 4, 2020 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Litsey officiating. Interment will follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Paul Harjo, Erik Georgi, Matthew Richardson, Anesium McDaniel, William Chandler, Jacob Brooks, and David Endres. Honorary casketbearers will be Rocky Baker, Michael Harjo, and Aaron Torix
