Carolyn Jean (Kittrell) Hogan
Carolyn Jean (Kittrell) Hogan, age 68, of Marietta, Oklahoma, went to be with our lord on May 24th 2019. A visitation and celebration of her life will be held on May 29th 2019 between the hours of 6pm to 8pm at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, in Gainesville, TX.
Mrs. Hogan was born in Lockney, Texas on June 29th, 1950 to James (Jake) and Letha (Busby) Kittrell. She spent many years as a waitress and being a mother and nana. Her hobbies included cooking, homemaking, playing cards, watching the golden girls, and playing bingo. She also loved cha -chinning (slots) and always enjoyed cracking jokes, but her most cherish hobby was spending time with her family.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Michael Hogan; both parents; brothers: Larry, Clarence, and Herman Kittrell; sisters: Goldie Gildwell, Sue Cavitt, Ruth Robinson, Syvlie and Edith Kittrell; daughters: Phillis and Melissa Rackley; grandson Triston Empey.
Mrs. Hogan is survived by 4 daughters Pamela Neu of Bellevue, Texas, Crystal Stell and husband Jerry of Valley View, Texas, Cynthia Donnelly of Gainesville, Texas, Paula Empey and husband Eddie of Thackerville, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren: John and wife Dani Blackburn, Monica Shircliff, Kassady and husband Ryan Skinner, Ryan and wife Stormie Blackburn, Phillis Cowden, Connor Hosay, Colten, Sadie, and Kylie Empey; 13 great-grandchildren; her canine companion Lil Bit.
