Born October 22, 1955 in Duplin County, was the son of Bettie Newton Rivenbark and the late Francis Edward Rivenbark. He was also predeceased by his father-in-law, Donald Mills.
Survivors include his his devoted wife of 39 years, Sue Mills Rivenbark of the home; his loving daughter, Lauren Rivenbark of Wallace; sister, Jan Manning of Wallace; brother, Glenn Rivenbark and wife, Philomina of Georgia; brother-in-law, Jerome Mills and wife, Angela of Wallace, mother-in-law, Peggy Mills and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends that loved Stephen dearly.
Stephen was a loving husband, caring father, and brother; a simple man who loved his family very much and would do anything he could for them. Throughout his life, he was a kind and humble man who was true to those he loved. Stephen was a very private man who kept to himself, minding his own business. During the past few years, his illness prevented him from doing many things he loved to do. Stephen will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved Stephen.
