Mrs. Loretta E. Sentz Hartman, 81 of Mount Vernon Terrace, died at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday April 4, in Quincy United Methodist Home. She had been in ill health for the last two years and was admitted to the home on March 21 after being a patient for three weeks in Waynesboro Hospital.

She was born May 29, 1902 in Pittsburgh.

She had been a resident of Waynesboro for most of her life. Her first husband Guy S. Sentz Sr., died Nov 10, 1977.

She and her second husband Kellar P. Hartman, were married March 10, 1979 in Cascade, Md. by the late Rev. Clarence McGaha.

Mrs. Hartman was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and the Ever Eager Sunday School Class.

In addition to her husband she is survived by four daughters Mrs. ELizabeth Bowders, Mrs. Mary Oberholzer and Mrs. Lois Biesecker, all of Waynesboro and Mrs. Lorraine Davis of Hagerstown, one son Guy S. Sentz Jr., Fayetteville, 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Eleanor Koch, Pittsburgh, one stepdaughter, Mrs. Louise Ryder of Hagerstown, three stepsons Raymond Hartman of Chambersburg, Robert Hartman of Mercersburg and Paul Hartman of Hagerstown, 13 step grandchildren, 18 step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Snyder Funeral Home, Waynesboro, with the Rev. Howard H. Smith and the Rev. Gerald L. Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens Chambersburg.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
