Ms. Williams was born on August 13, 1947, to the late Reverend Julian B. Williams, Sr., and Rosetta Williams in Dublin. She was a graduate of the B. D. Perry High School. She worked at Community Mental Health and with Dublin City Schools. As a member of Williams Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, she served in many capacities including as a member of the Kitchen Committee, and the Senior Choir. She was instrumental in the Mass Choir’s production of its CD, “I’ve got a friend”; her favorite song was #7, “It’s changing time”. Ms. Williams peacefully departed this life on November 26, 2020.
Ms. Williams was preceded in death by death by her loving son, Darrell D. Williams, and her sister-in-law, Susan “Susie” Williams.
Ms. Williams is survived by her four devoted sons, Tony Wells of Burlington, North Carolina, Anthony Williams, Tyrus Williams, Norman Fuller, all of Dublin, two devoted godsons, Frank Davis, and Cornelius “Pete” (Tomekia) Hazley of Dublin, four brothers, Julian B. Williams, Jr., of Atlanta, Phillip (Bernice) Williams of Anniston, Alabama, Reverend Norman (Lynette) Williams, and Tomey (Joan) Towwad, one sister, Sandra (Antonio) Brown, all of Atlanta, one daughter-in-law, Cynthia Williams, and her precious grandchildren and great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
