Funeral for Drowning Victim Held at Padgett Parlors Today
Funeral services for John L Caldwell, 58, who was drowned while bathing at North Beach, Md, Sunday were held at Padgett's Undertaking Parlors, 131 Eleventh Street SE at 10 oclock this morning. Mr Caldwell was believed to have suffered a heart attack.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs Bessie Lantz, 1516 D St NE, with whom he made his home,; a daughter Miss Marion Caldwell' a son, Louis Caldwell' three other sisters, Mrs Roberta Mathie [sic], Mrs Ella Smithson and Mrs Eva Umhau, all of this city, and a brother, Harry Caldwell of California.
