Cresaptown, MD – Hazel “Skeeter” Louise Williams, 76, of Cresaptown, MD, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020, at Mountain City Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.

Born May 22, 1944, in Cumberland, MD, Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Franklin Levi May and Catherine Violet (DeLawder) May. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years: Eugene “Cookie” Douglas Williams, Sr., July 27, 2019; and a brother: Ronald Lee May.

Skeeter retired from Bishop Walsh School in the Cafeteria. She had Candlelight Catering where she loved cooking for everyone and was well-known for her cupcakes.

Skeeter is survived by her twin sons: Dennis Williams and wife, Lisa; and Doug Williams, Jr., and wife, Sue; and her daughters: Kathy Lockard and husband, Wayne; and Krista Lechliter and husband, Ike. She also leaves behind her sister: Susie Ault and husband, Dale; her grandchildren: Mandy Smith, Kevin and Ashley Williams, Brandon Williams, Derek and Kayla Williams, Haylee Lechliter, Brady Lechliter, Levi Lockard, Mercedes Shook, and Hunter Lockard; as well as numerous great grandchildren.

Services will be private.
Interment will be in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.
