Roger lived respectively and was granted an earthly life of 71 years, 7 months, and 25 days.

It was on August 23, 1948, in Frankfort, South Dakota, that the Lord blessed the home of Troy and Kathryn (Weber) Reynolds with the arrival of their son, Roger Lee. Roger grew up on a farm outside of Redfield, South Dakota, with three brothers, Jack, Fayette, and Jerry, and a sister, Sharon. He attended a country school in Frankfort, South Dakota, and graduated with the 1966 class of Redfield High School in South Dakota.

Roger proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force. He spent 18 months in Alaska and four years in Amsterdam and Germany. Roger appreciated many things about Germany, especially the tulip festivals. He would have liked to have gone back to visit Germany but without the hardships of service-time hovering. A few years after returning to the states, he asked for the hand of his sweetheart, Lorita Freeman, and on May 19, 1973, they were united in marriage in Hardin, Missouri. This union was blessed was with a son, William, and a daughter, Jennifer. Roger and Lorita shared 46 years of marriage and had many memories and milestones together. Lorita survives of the home.

Roger was a truck driver and a mill hand for 28 years at Harper's Mill and later worked for Ray-Carroll for 15 years. He enjoyed helping Dooley Kimbrough open and close graves in the Norborne area. Roger was of the Methodist faith.

Roger talked with anyone that crossed his path, and he never met a stranger. He enjoyed working at Harper's Mill because he could catch up with all the area farmers about the crops, local news, and the weather. He was known as generous by ensuring that anyone that ran out of gasoline, Roger would appear with a full gas can to help them out. He had a precise television schedule he kept which included, The Price is Right and The Rifleman. Roger had a great sense of humor, but sometimes he would appear to be on the grumpy side. His great humor came full force when visiting his brother at their old home place in South Dakota. He was loved by all that knew him and will be greatly missed.

Roger is survived by his wife Lorita; a son William Reynolds and his wife Becky of Norborne, Missouri; a daughter, Jennifer Reynolds and her husband Billy Booker of Hardin, Missouri; a Brother, Jack Reynolds and his wife Betty of Redfield, South Dakota; a sister, Sharon Ihnen, and her husband Dwane of Lincoln, Nebraska; nine grandchildren, Billy Reynolds, Kellsie Reynolds, Devin Reynolds and his wife Karlie, Macey Reynolds, Cameron Booker and his wife, Khelbi, Damian Booker, Caitlyn Booker, Shaylyn Reynolds, and Ethan Booker; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by two brothers, Fayette Reynolds, and Jerry Reynolds, and sadly a grandson, Zachary Booker.

A graveside memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m Saturday, May 30, 2020, a Fairhaven Cemetery, Norborne, Missouri.
Military Honors will be provided by Pence-Lovell England Post #1773, Carrol County, Missouri.
