Wanda Sue Cardin Thomas of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 19, 1946 in Manning, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Cecil and Willie Mae Moltz Smith Cardin. She was an active member of Meadowview Baptist Church in Sheridan where she served her Lord faithfully. She had retired from Shippers and was currently employed with the Sheridan School District as a bus driver. She enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, crafts, sewing, getting her nails done and shopping.

Mrs. Thomas died Monday, November 30, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 74.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lettie Katherine Thomas; nephew, David Johnson; niece, Donna Hill; great nephew, Justin Sullivan and sister-in-law, Robbie Cardin.

Survivors: husband, Robert Thomas of Sheridan; son, Bobby (Lanee) Thomas of Sheridan; daughter, Tammy (Eddie) Provence of East End; brothers, Robert E. (Wanda) Cardin of Sheridan, Vernon Cardin of Sheridan; sister, Peggy Johnson of Monticello; 4 grandchildren, Mikey Hatten, Tyler Thomas, Julie Thomas and Vanessa Provence and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and many friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Meadowview Baptist Church with Bro. Micah McKinley officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at the church from 1:00 until service time. Burial will follow at Cedar Branch Cemetery.

Due to Covid 19, masks must be worn and social distancing is required.
