Mother Mary Lee Reginal-McGee age 71, transitioned to her heavenly home on November 29, 2020. Mary was the daughter of the late Miller and Elizabeth Reginal of Jackson, MS. She was employed at Jackson State University where she worked in the Division of Finance Department for many years before retiring in 1999. Upon retiring, she worked faithfully for many years at her church, Greater New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson, MS as secretary until her health failed.
Mary is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Melvin McGee of Raymond, MS and her two sons, Derrell F. McGee (My My) and Reginald N. McGee both of Jackson, MS, five grandchildren; Eien McGee, Myly McGee, Cody McGee, Ryan McGee and Luke McGee, four sisters, Betty Reginal, Nora Reginal, Bobbie Reginal-Hogan (J.C.), Dorothy Reginal-Myers (tommie) six brothers; Bennie Reginal (Lena), Willie Reginal (Betty) Jimmie Reginal, Ricky Reginal, Billy Reginal, Tommy Reginal all of Jackson, MS and a host of nieces and nephews.
Three brothers preceded her in death: David Reginal (Corrine), Jackson Reginal, and Miller Reginal, Jr. (Annie)
Funeral services and burial will be Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Bracey Memorial Cemetery located at 7865 Springridge Road, Raymond, MS 39154. Westhaven Funeral Home located at 3580 Robinson Road, Jackson, MS 39209 is handling the funeral arrangements for Mother Mary McGee, viewing time will be Friday, December 4, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
