Sharon Sue Gibson was born December 16, 1943 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Martha Ethel Christy White and Joe Robert White. She was raised in the Big Bend Area of Osage County. She attended the Ralston Public School system graduating in 1962.

Sharon married Walter Gibson December 1, 1962. To this union was born 3 sons; Monty Todd, Ronnie Scott, and Gregory Dewayne. In her early years she worked at Ralston Farmers Coop, Stoneman Ford of Fairfax, and Halliburton. She managed the Texaco Station in Fairfax until 1985 when she decided to go back to school and earn her Associates Degree in Nursing. She graduated from Northern Oklahoma College in May 1987. She faithfully served the community working at the Fairfax Memorial Hospital and various Home Health agencies and was a proud member of the First Osage Baptist Church of Fairfax.

In 2000 she began serving as a foster parent and continued for many years. It gave her great delight to take in and love many children over the years. In 2003 she adopted one of those foster children, Breanna Kole.

Her greatest joy in her life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren . Whether it be following them in their sporting events, watching them sing, attending play days, or just simply spending time with them.

She loved quilting, reading, sitting on her porch and looking at her flowers and cattle, and watching the game show network.

Sharon is survived by her three sons, Todd Gibson and his wife Kelsey of Ponca City, Ronnie Gibson and his wife Tami of Ralston, Gregory Gibson and his wife Cindy of Stillwater; 10 Grand Children, Savanah, Heath, Scott, Jared, Sasha, Sue, Tevin, Kaylynn, Penelope, and Lanie; 12 Great Grandchildren, Hadlee, Lane, Hunter, Cade, Skylar, Ethan, Jax, Harper, Axton, Lucy, Midus, and Ethan Garrett.

Sharon was proceeded in death by her parents Martha and Joe Robert White, her ex-husband Walter Gibson, grandson Garrett Gibson, two brothers Donald White, Robert "Bobby" White and one sister Kathy Thompson.
