David Piper
Whitelaw - David Piper, age 62, of Whitelaw, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, November 19, 2018 as a result of an automobile accident.
Dave was born on February 28, 1956, in Olney, IL, son of the late Herbert and Viola (Rickert) Piper. He graduated with the class of 1974 from Red Hill High School in Olney, IL, and continued his education at Wabash Community College, where he earned his Associate's Degree in Agriculture. On October 23, 2002, he married the former Lisa Knox at Pigeon Forge, TN. Dave worked as an engineer at the Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant. He loved his home up north and enjoyed his tractor and cutting wood. Dave especially loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife: Lisa Piper, Pound; two sons and one daughter-in-law: David (Nikki) Piper II, ID; Cody Preston, Kellnersville; one daughter: Lenora Groelle, Valders; special friend: Brett Ohlrogge, Valders; five grandchildren: David III; Adyson; Chevella; Sadie; Leighla; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Dwight (Winnie) Piper, IL; Bill Piper, IL; one sister and brother-in-law: Debbie (Tom) Heath, IL; two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law: Denise Baldwin, Crivitz; Tammy (Bill) Brockman, Neenah, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Herbert and Viola Piper; one grandson: Jameson Stoeckigt; one brother: Phillip Piper.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 1124 Main Street, Kellnersville. The Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate.
