He was a retired electrician. He loved his family and doing anything outdoors.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Donna McLemore Sharpe; sisters, Thelma (David) Patton of Columbia, Frances (Luther) Vinson of Lexington, and Jean (James) Baughman of South Congaree; sister-in-law, Joyce Sharpe of Saluda; numerous nieces and nephews; and special nephew, Wesley Ward (Sandra).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his son, Clarence E. (Eddie) Sharpe, III; brother, Hebert P. Sharpe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Wanda Sharpe, Alton L. and Jackie Sharpe, Clarence E. Jr., and Dorothy Sharpe, James D. Sharpe, Bobby L. and Janet Sharpe; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Robert L. Outlaw.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, 2603 Two Notch Road, Columbia, SC 29204, conducted by Chaplain Chuck Byrd.
