Mrs. Patricia Ann Crowe Ray, age 73, of Lindale, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020, at a local hospital.

Mrs. Ray was born in Floyd County, Georgia on April 21, 1947, daughter of the late James Hancock and the late Helen Elizabeth Crowe Purdy. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Frankie Purdy. Mrs. Ray worked for several years with Zartic. She was a faithful member of Doyle Road Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Buster Ray; a son, Tim Smith and his wife, Kim, Cedartown; a daughter, Rhonda Leon, Lindale; grandchildren, Tommy Smith, Justin Smith, Ryan Smith, Sara Smith, Brittany Jarrett, Brian Leon and Mariana Cantrell; great grandchildren, Raylann, Blakelee, Konner, Remi, Raylee, Presley Jo, Case, Coden and Oakley; a sister, Kathy Purdy, Rome; two brothers, Jerry Purdy, Summerville, and Ronnie Purdy, Rome; nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020, at 2pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Rev. Frankie Madrie officiating. Private interment will be at Floyd Memory Gardens. Social distancing measures will be followed, and masks are requested.

Tim Smith, Tommy Smith, Justin Smith, Ryan Smith, Brian Leon, and Ronnie Purdy, Jr. will serve as pallbearers.

Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, has charge of the funeral arrangements.
