Yesterday, I lost part of my heart. Our hearts were joined as one on May 15, 1999.

On November 22, 2020, Don Ameche Thomas' heart stopped, and he transitioned into the next life. My heart will ache until joined with his again. He fought the good fight. God has him now and I am grateful for every year we were able to spend together.

I met him in the 5th grade. Though we did not date in High School, I married him over 20 years after we graduated. I am devastated. We had a great life. We were ride or die. I know that he is in a wonderful place and is at peace. God rest his soul.

The funeral service for Don will be held on:

Saturday, November 28, 2020
At 12:00 NOON
At the graveside at
Free Spring Baptist Church
1608 Smith Road
Woodville (Doloroso), MS 30669

I will return to Woodville when the Coronavirus is under control and we will have a Memorial BBQ Blast in his honor- Big Daddy style.

For now, I will leave him in Doloroso, but I cannot wait to celebrate his amazing life with you (hopefully) this summer! I love him so!
